Early Adopter Breakfast Club at Nonsuch Primary

We are pleased to share that Nonsuch Primary School has been selected as an Early Adopter School for the Department for Education’s new Breakfast Club programme.

This exciting initiative is part of a wider national effort to ensure that every child starts the day with the best possible foundation for learning. As an Early Adopter School, we are helping to shape and develop this programme alongside the DfE, ensuring it meets the real needs of children and families in schools like ours.

What Is the Breakfast Club Programme?

The DfE Breakfast Club initiative is designed to give children access to free, nutritious breakfasts at the start of the school day. A healthy breakfast helps children to:

• Focus and concentrate better in lessons
• Maintain steady energy levels throughout the morning
• Build positive social interactions before lessons begin
• Arrive at school on time and ready to learn

What Does This Mean for Our Families?

Being part of this programme means that pupils at Nonsuch Primary can attend our Breakfast Club for free, thanks to government funding. As part of the early adopter phase, we are also helping to share feedback and ideas that will shape how this programme is rolled out across the country in the future.

Magic Breakfast provides Nonsuch Primary School with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons. Nonsuch Primary School are ensuring no child is too hungry to learn.
